Sewage Treatment Facility

Requirements:

The scope called for a Sydney Water approved coating system suitable for sewage treatment.  The system requirements included both high chemical and abrasive resistance.

Solution:

Sika was selected as the manufacturer for the products of this project.  The concrete substrate as grit blasted to remove all laitence to ICRI CSP 3-4.  The surface was then scratch coated with Sikadur 33 to fill all voids.  Sikafloor 160 was applied as the primer to ensure an even non porous surface for application of the topcoat.  Sikagard 63N was applied as the topcoat for overall chemical and abrasion resistance.  The project was completed on time with high client satisfaction.
