Suspended Deck Waterproofing
Requirements:
The scope called for high performance self adhesive sheet system to waterproof a suspended deck with living areas directly below the deck.
Solution:
Gripset BRW PFN was chosen as the waterproofing solution for this project as it performs particularly well in suspended composite sheet deck applications where there is generally ongoing movement of the substrate. The sheet system guarantees a uniform film thickness with no risk of pinholes which can be an issue with liquid systems.
The substrate was cleaned, primed and detailed utilising Gripset butyl tape.
Gripset BRW PFN was then applied and joints sealed with Gripset 38FC as per manufacturers recommendations.
Tiling or screeding can occur after 4 hours.
