Sheet waterproofing
Sheet waterproofing is a continuous layer of watertight material laid over a surface. This layer does not allow water to pass through. This waterproofing membrane provides a uniform thickness and does not rely on the applicator to check film thickness. It is best used in critical waterproofing infrastructure or when time constraints do not allow the drying of a liquid system.

A waterproofing sheet is a preformed sheet membrane, supplied on a roll, that can be either adhered or loosely laid on a surface to provide waterproofing. Depending on the sheet type, the sheets can be different lengths and thicknesses.
Sheet waterproofing has several distinct advantages over other forms of waterproofing. The main benefit is that the sheet gives a uniform film thickness, eliminating any low points that may occur during application.
Like liquid waterproofing, there are different types of sheet membranes for different waterproofing applications like torch-on, self-adhesive, and heat-weldable. The most common types are PVC, bitumen, and butyl rubber.
Sheet waterproofing is more expensive than liquid or cementitious and should only be applied by approved applicators as special skills and equipment are used. In some fine or tight applications, sheet waterproofing just cannot be used due to the restrictions of the application.
